Promar Industrial Chemicals and Textile Co. Ltd. is founded in 1996 for manufacturing and marketing the various industrial chemicals that are essential for industrial applications. The basic principle of the company is to obtain the absolute customer satisfaction.

Our aim is to manufacture special chemical products by combining the natural resources and human made semi-products. On the other hand developing new technologies is another important goal of our company.

In order to realize our goals; basic politics is to obtain the absolute customer satisfaction, standard approach and total quality comprehension. Our experienced technical support team that develops solutions to customer-oriented problems by providing technical education and the best possible product support either in presale or post sale activities with our improved quality products which satisfies customer needs, works wit the principle of the quality first.

Promar is an active member of TEMSAD (Association of Textile Machinery and Accessories Manufacturers) and OMUD (Corrugated Board Manufacturers Association).

History

1996 Foundation, Textile Machine Oils manufacturing and marketing started

1997 Textile Machine Oils product range completed

1998 Fiber-Yarn Lubricants product range completed.

1999 Auxiliaries for Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing manufacturing and marketing started

2000 Auxiliaries for Bleaching, Dyeing and Finishing product range completed. Industrial Oil manufacturing and marketing started

2001 Distributorship of Du Pont - USA in Turkey for the high performance lubricant KRYTOX began

2002 Distributorship of Du Pont - USA in Turkey for coating and release systems product TRASYS began

2003 Responsible Care Agreement is signed.

2005 New local distributorships of our products were given for different regions in Turkey.

2006 New ERP (enterprise resource planning) computer software project is started up.

ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Certificate is obtained from BVQI.

2006 Since November Distributorship of Q8 Oils Industrial Lubricants has started. Accordingly, Wire Drawing Lubricants, Metal Working Fluids and Copper Wire Drawing Lubricants added to our product range.

2006 Promar added new valued products & fashion chemicals for the textile applications and extended its business to denim industry. Texasil NS – Nanosilicone Softener Series, enzyme product range Prozym Series.

2007 Promar has recently extended its distributorship to Bangladesh, Egypt.

2008 ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System 2. Surveillance audit covering all sites was performed by Bureau Veritas and there wasn’t any non-conformity observed and reported during the audit.
